Terms and Conditions for the Cancer Chicks Online Raffle
1. Promoter and Beneficiary
- Promoter: Cancer Chicks, ABN 76 654 301 907, of .C/-Stewart Brown Chartered Accountants,Tower 1, 495 Victoria Ave,Chatswood NSW 2067. Cancer Chicks is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
- Beneficiary: All proceeds from this raffle will directly support Cancer Chicks' mission to support, empower and enhance the lives of all young women affected by cancer and severe chronic and terminal illness.
2. Raffle Period
- Opens: 23rd July 2025, 00:01 (AEST)
- Closes: 1st October 11.59pm
- No entries will be accepted after the closing time.
3. Eligibility to Enter
- Entry is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Entrants must be Australian residents.
- Employees, board members, and immediate family members of employees and board members of Cancer Chicks are not eligible to enter.
- By purchasing a ticket, entrants confirm they meet all eligibility requirements.
4. How to Enter
- To enter, participants must purchase one or more raffle tickets via the official raffle form.
- Each ticket costs $10
- Tickets will have a unique digital identifier.
- Payment must be made in Australian Dollars (AUD).
- Upon successful payment, entrants will receive a confirmation email containing their ticket number(s). It's the entrant's responsibility to retain this confirmation.
5. Ticket Limits
- There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual may purchase, subject to availability.
- The total number of tickets available in this raffle is 10000

- Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash unless explicitly stated.
- Cancer Chicks accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize values.
- All costs associated with the prize(s) that are not expressly stated as being included (e.g., insurance, taxes, travel to collect the prize, spending money for travel prizes) are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).
- Independent financial advice should be sought by the winner(s) regarding any tax implications arising from winning a prize.
7. Draw Details
- Draw Date: 02/10/2025
- Draw Time: 12:00pm (AEST)
- Draw Location: Online via the Supporterhub platform.
- Draw Method: The draw will be conducted fairly and randomly using our CRM platform, SupporterHub. Once ticket sales have closed, an automated system will randomly select winners from all valid ticket entries to ensure a fair and impartial outcome. All valid tickets will have an equal chance of winning.
8. Winner Notification and Publication
- The winner(s) will be notified by email within 7 business days of the draw using the contact details provided at the time of ticket purchase.
- Winners do not need to be present at the draw to claim their prize.
- The names and suburbs of the winner(s) will be published on the Cancer Chicks website (cancerchicks.org.au) and social media channels within 7 business days of the draw.
- Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and age to claim their prize.
9. Unclaimed Prizes
- If a prize remains unclaimed for 3 months after the draw date, or if a winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts, or is found to be ineligible, Cancer Chicks reserves the right to conduct a re-draw for that prize.
- The re-draw (if required) will take place on 6th January 2026 at 12.00pm via the Supporter Hub platform, using the same random method as the original draw.
- The winner of any re-draw will be notified and published in the same manner as the original draw.
10. Privacy and Data Collection
- Cancer Chicks collects personal information from entrants for the purpose of conducting this raffle, including for contacting winners, prize delivery, and compliance with fundraising regulations.
- By entering the raffle, entrants consent to their name and suburb being published in the event they win a prize.
- Personal information will be handled in accordance with Cancer Chicks' Privacy Policy, available at www.cancerchicks.org.au/general-5
11. General Conditions
- Cancer Chicks reserves the right, subject to any directions from regulatory authorities, to cancel, suspend, or modify the raffle if unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect the fairness or integrity of the raffle (e.g., computer virus, technical malfunction, fraud, or force majeure events).
- Cancer Chicks' decision in all matters relating to the raffle, including but not limited to the eligibility of entries, the draw, and the interpretation of these terms and conditions, is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Cancer Chicks and its associated agencies, and prize suppliers will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage, or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person's negligence) relating to this raffle or the awarding or use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
